We call it distributed computing…

Insights after we’ve been working on our forthcoming launch, pulling together the individual efforts of 5 or 6 people across three, sometimes four, continents, could have been much worse, but we’ve managed to do it, and well, I think.

Kathy Sierra’s been trying to clarify that the wisdom of crowds did not mean a collective camel designed by a committee but the sum total of the parts is greater than the whole. It is called synergy, if I’m correct. I think I learnt in MIS class in engineering. And human beings are the most complex black box computers ever designed.

Tasos, is that an unreasonable challenge for Black Box concept design?
