I’m going to Ranthambhore Bagh after the conference in New Delhi for a couple of days. Its a resort in a tiger sanctuary in Rajasthan, the desert state of India, a state that always gives rise to visions of grand palaces, Maharajahs and Rajput armies.
Aditya Singh, who owns and runs the resort along with his wife, is also an avid wildlife photographer whose work has been picked up by the BBC, National Geographic and others of that ilk.
He’s also one of the first friends I made in Bangalore as a freshman engineering major at BMSCE more than two decades ago. As you can see, I’m looking forward to sitting under the winter chilled night sky of north, is just such a patio outside of my tent with a chota peg, reminiscing about the older days. Teenagers up to no good.
