Contemplating 40.7

So a little later than I expected, I’m reflecting back on this, my 40th year. They, the mysterious unknown they, say that life begins at 40. This is considered your second childhood. Or as a friend of mine just wrote back to me yesterday,

40 is a good age in which to reformat the hard drive, install a new operating system and get some good software.

Live long and prosper, indeed.
