Whether you like it or not, history is on our side.

I just saw something on YouTube that made me laugh out loud at the balls it takes to do something like that on video in front of a global audience. It reminded me of the infamous shoe banging that took place four decades ago in the very same location. This is going to be fun.

    our sympathies are always with the passionate and gutsy, arn’t they – no matter what kind of weirdos they might be at home…

    the funny thing: my personal anti-bush sentiment always grows around 911.
    as much as i loved the reactions in new york on the following days (words cannot express the amount of courage and humanity this city showed to all the world)… as much as these feelings still touch me – as strongly i do feel: war is not the answer!
