I went down to have brunch at the corner of Union street and Columbus , where the church of St Peter and Paul is, and discovered that there would be a parade for Columbus Day by the Italian American community.
This was the colour of the sky today and there is a faint trail of a jet’s airstream from "Fleet Week" – our neighbourhood’s equivalent of the Air and Water Show held in Chicago.
Look at the quality of the sunshine, gleaming off the polished bodies of the mostly red Ferraris. I want the 1966 model. The word Ferrari, rolled around in your mouth, brings to mind, Lambhorghini, Pininfarina and other zippy little red cars. If there is heaven on earth … 🙂
